Join GRAC in the Groton Olde Home Days parade on Saturday, August 17!

GRAC will have a float in the Groton Olde Home Days parade!  You’ll know our float when you see it. 🙂  Join us in the parade and add your voice to the growing number of residents who demand that the town board take action to pass a moratorium or ban on hydrofracking in Groton!

The parade will line up at 5pm on Saturday, August 17 on Route 222.  We are towards the back of the parade.  Come by our table in front of Bun Appetit on Saturday for more information.

About gracny

We are a group of Groton residents interested in raising public awareness of issues related to gas drilling, including land leasing and the methods and risks involved with unconventional gas drilling (a.k.a. “hydrofracking” or “fracking”). We believe that all of our neighbors, whether their land is leased or not, value clean drinking water, clean air, and the recreational opportunities and quality of life in Groton, NY.
